Authentic Leadership
Leadership is essential for the success of healthcare businesses. Numerous academics have investigated the topic of leadership and the various behaviors and attitudes that enhance organizational performance. Laschinger, Borgogni, Consiglio, and Read argue that the development of self-efficacy and resilience to deal with professional challenges can be facilitated by authentic leadership (2015). Regan, Laschinger, and Wong (2016), who demonstrate a link between genuine leadership and nurses’ workplace empowerment, lend weight to the observation. One of the inherent leadership philosophies in nursing is transformational leadership, where the leader empowers followers to collaborate for organizational success (Aga, Noorderhaven, & Vallejo, 2016; Marshall & Broome, 2017). I thus put a lot of effort into honing my transformational and sincere leadership.
Describe in a few words my main principles.
I now recognize how important moral values are to a leader’s accomplishments in the healthcare sector. My core values include integrity, transparency, humility, patience, morality, and commitment. These principles guide how I interact with my coworkers and patients. I have learned throughout the years that the principles provide me with the ability to create a friendly environment that promotes both team and individual growth. These standards are the basis for transformational leadership (Marshall & Broome, 2017). They also aid in my capacity to influence others positively.
A person’s vision and mission
As a leader, my mission is to acquire the abilities required to assist others in achieving their goals and those of the group via cooperation and empowerment. I want to put together a group of motivated, enthusiastic, and empowered caregivers to improve the outcomes’ quality.
An analysis of my CliftonStrengths assessment
I extracted five themes from my assessment: responsibility, relator, futuristic, perceptive, and learner. Being a futuristic leader who is future-focused, I have a distinct vision for the future. I work with others as a realtor to implement the group’s vision, objectives, and goals. The intellectual motif refers to my creativity when working with others to achieve goals. Being a learner indicates my commitment to enhancing performance through lifelong learning. The concept of responsibility makes it evident that I am accountable for my successes and failures.
