By demonstrating strong leadership, healthcare businesses can increase productivity. The manner in which a leader leads affects the outcomes for both employees and patients. The efficacy of healthcare institutions can be impacted by a variety of leadership philosophies, but research indicates that transformational and transactional philosophies have the biggest impact.
Important lessons can be learned from empirical studies on leadership in healthcare. The success of a healthcare company depends on its leadership style. Not all fashion trends, though, are beneficial. Transformational leadership is acknowledged as the most effective approach in all healthcare situations, particularly community hospitals.
