Gallup’s Strengths Finder
After doing the Gallup StrengthsFinder assessment, I understood that I have the skills and attitudes necessary to be a successful leader in actual circumstances. The findings revealed crucial details regarding various things I can do naturally to lead. For instance, I might take the findings and turn my strengths into my gifts to improve my leadership potential.
The evaluation taught me that five themes—futuristic, relator, intellect, learner, and responsibility—reflected my leadership traits. I will think about these concepts when I evaluate my abilities and how I may improve my leadership capabilities. The “futuristic” theme highlights my ability to motivate others with a vision and my future-oriented management approach. As a “relator,” I enjoy working with others and taking pleasure in teamwork (Sethuraman & Suresh, 2014). The basis for skill is the idea of “intellection.” I appreciate having serious talks because they challenge my mind. I am motivated to keep learning and advance as a “learner” professionally. Lastly, my knowledge of the “responsibility” subject proves that I am a trustworthy leader (Gallup, 2006). Loyalty and integrity are my top goals while working with others.
I should develop and hone a few of my values, skills, and character qualities to become a better leader in the future. I need to improve on two key virtues: humility and respect for others’ differences. For instance, I now understand that I must practice humility and respect for others’ differences to deepen the relational theme. I should also develop my strong points, such as coming up with ideas and convincing others to accept them (Pardey, 2016). I should enhance my communication and confidence to forge connections with coworkers. If I can communicate confidently, my level of influence will rise.
