Question:
You will need to identify landscape elements that you see every day that influence the gendering of our planet.
You will be required to identify one element each week in order to complete this assignment.
Your write-up should not exceed 2 to 3 paragraphs.
The first paragraph should describe the landscape element being discussed, and the context.
The second and third paragraphs should contain an analysis of this landscape element.
An analysis that incorporates one or more concepts of class will be able to discuss the effects of this element on different people’s senses and behaviours.
While it’s not necessary for every journal entry you should include a photo of the landscape element that you are discussing each week.
If you don’t know much about the culture and life in Mississauga or Toronto, and find it difficult to “read” the landscape there, you can include images from other places.
To help someone marking your journal understand what you are analyzing, please include a visual if possible.
